DAY 01 - USHUAIA
Ushuaia is the capital of the Argentine province of Tierra del Fuego. It is commonly regarded as the southernmost city in the world. Ushuaia is located in a wide bay on the southern coast of the island of Tierra del Fuego, bounded on the north by the Martial mountain range and on the south by the Beagle Channel. Tourist attractions include the Tierra del Fuego National Park and Lapataia Bay. The park can be reached by highway, or via the End of the World Train (Tren del Fin del Mundo) from Ushuaia. The city has a museum of Yámana, English, and Argentine settlement, including its years as a prison colony. Wildlife attractions include local birds, penguins, seals, and orcas, many of these species colonizing islands in the Beagle Channel.

DAY 02 - USHUAIA

HD Tierra del Fogo National park Tour.
Departure from the city southward along National Route 3 towards Tierra del Fuego National Park, the only one in the country situated on the maritime coast, only 12 km from Ushuaia.
You will first reach the End of the World Station from where the trip on board the legendary 'Ferrocarril Austral Fueguino' (Southern Fuegian Railway), best known as the End of the World Train, departs. This little train with a steam locomotive and coaches fitted with fully panoramic windows, will take you inside Tierra del Fuego National Park, following the route that the old train run when it carried the prisoners of the old Ushuaia Presidium during their trips in search for firewood. The train starts running alongside Pipo River, entering the Tierra del Fuego National Park. You will make a short stop at 'Cascada de la Macarena' (Macarena's Cascade), where there is a reproduction of a settlement of Selknam aborigine tribe, the primitive inhabitants of the region before white men's arrival. The way continues skirting the Mount Martiales Range, passing through an area where the native wood has been completely depleted, and you will see a large quantity of fallen trunks, called 'tocones', trace of the former felling in this area which is nowadays protected by the National Park. A good example of what human beings can do to nature if they exploit it unlimitedly.
Departure towards Tierra del Fuego National Park, the only one in the country situated on the maritime coast, only 12 km from Ushuaia. A fascinating trip with assorted views on the Beagle Channel, surrounded by the most charming views offered by the southern tip of the Andes Mountain Range before plunging into the ocean and the Andean-Patagonian forest, formed by diversity of tree species such as: lengas, guindos, ńires, notros and assorted flowers such as: orchids, violets, daisies, sea-pinks and Fuegian edelweiss.
A trip along peat bogs and beaver dams, leads to Lapataia River and Green Lagoon. From there you will travel the final part of Route 3 that finishes in Lapataia Bay. The primitive aborigine settlers have left their traces in the 'concheros', unbelievable archaeological deposits that provide interesting information about these people's every day life. Return to Ushuaia, stopping at Roca lake to admire the characteristic weather-changing colors of its waters.

DAY 03 - USHUAIA
Buffet Breakfast at the hotel.
HD Beagle Channel Cruise tour.
Departure from the hotel towards Ushuaia touristic pier where your will embark the catamaran that will take you to the Birds and Sea Lions Islands, through the waters of Beagle Channel. The tour begins sailing along Ushuaia Bay from where you will get an excellent panoramic view of the city framed by Andean mountains. Once you have reached the end of the bay, you will go through Paso Chico, which indicates the start of the mythic Beagle Channel. You will border the northern coast passing by Archipelago Bridges till you reach Birds Island, where you will be able to appreciate the great variety of sea birds that live in the area: cormorants, albatrosses, ducks, sea gulls, etc. Close to this place, you will see the Sea Lions Island with its sea lions settlement, a unique opportunity to watch at the same time sea lions of one and two hairs and get to understand the differences between both species. You will finally get to Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse, from where you will start the way back to the city .
Arrival at the pier and return to the hotel. Transfer out to the Airport.

Return to the hotel early afternoon.
