PROPOSED TOUR ITINERARY
 
 

DAY 01
Madrid

Meet and Greet upon arrival and transfer to your Hotel. Check in hotel (1400hrs).
Overnight at Hotel.
 

DAY 02
Madrid - Seville

Breakfast at Hotel. In the morning, Madrid Sightseeing Tour - (SIC Basis). During the 2 hour tour, we will visit the oldest districts in Madrid: Austrias, Plaza Mayor, Retiro Park, the Borbones area (Royal Palace, Prado Museum, Cibeles fountain, 'Puerta de Alcalá') and Isabel's. We will also visit some of the finest districts: Salamanca, Castellana and Ciudad Universitaria, Las Ventas bull ring and Santiago Bernabeu Stadium. We will stop at the Hard Rock Cafe to have a drink and in 'Romero Diaz' to see a flamenco live show. In the afternoon departure transfer to train station to connect your High Speed AVE train to Seville. Train departs at 1500hrs and arrive in Seville at 1730hrs. Arrival transfer to your hotel. Check in Hotel.

DAY 03
Seville - Granada - Seville

Breakfast at Hotel, depart for a Full Day Tour of Granada - (SIC Basis). In this city the Eurasian,Iberian, Phonetician, Roman, Arab and Christian cultures have left their imprint, making it one of the wonders of the world. It was Spain' s last Islamic Kingdom inhabited jointly by Muslims, Jews and Christians. The Alhambra is the main jewel of this beautiful city. Visit the Royal Palace, Alcazaba and the surrounding palaces, gardens, patios and towers. An outstanding feature are the Gardens of Generalife, which was the summer residence for the King. It's a combination of water springs, gardens and architecture of indescribable beauty. No surprise, it is considered as one of the most beautiful gardens in the world. After the visit to the Alhambra there will be free time for lunch (not included)and we will finally return to Seville.

DAY 04
Seville - Cordoba - Seville

Breakfast at Hotel, Full Day Tour of Cordoba - (SIC Basis). We depart from Seville for the 11 2 hour drive to Cordoba. When arriving in Cordoba, walk along the wonderful gardens of the Alcazar of the Christian Kings, where we will also see the mosaics that decorate the rooms (Mondays visit another monument). We will then visit the Mosque, once the crowning symbol of the Caliphate and now a Cathedral. Continue with a walk through the Jewish quarter, the old market (now the handicraft market)and the old Synagogue. Afterwards there will be free time for lunch (not included). Later return to Seville.

DAY 05
Seville - Tarifa - Tangier

Breakfast at Hotel. Start the day with a half day Seville Classic Tour. Learn about Seville's Architecture in 1920 and visit Plaza de Espana and the Cathedral, which is the third largest temple in the world. We will continue our tour by visiting the Orange Tree Courtyard and the Giralda Tower which is the symbol of Seville. We will go from the Cathedral to the Golden Tower where we will visit the City's Nautical History Exhibition. The tour will end with Santa Cruz Quarter, known for its orange trees and flower filled courtyards. In the afternoon transfer to Tarifa Port by Private Transfer. Arrive and check in at the Port for your Ferry Crossing to Tangier in Morocco. Ferry Crossing Included. Meet upon arrival and proceed to your hotel in Tangier.

DAY 06
Tangier - Fez

Breakfast at Hotel. This morning a Guided City Tour of Tangier and then proceed to Fez. Arrive in Fez and then check in Hotel.

DAY 07
Fez - Marrakesh

Breakfast at Hotel. Guided Tour of Fez. This city is packed with fantastic sights and smells as you tour this carefully preserved university city, which had its golden age in the fourteenth century, during the reign of the Merinides dynasty. Visit the Medina of Fez and walk through its old streets. See one of the oldest universities in the world, taking time to haggle in the Bazaar and see Moroccan pottery. Oriental rugs are an attraction for bargain hunters - witness this most important handicraft of Fez. Later proceed to Marrakesh . Check in Hotel.

DAY 08
Marrakesh

Breakfast at Hotel. Guided Sightseeing includes an exploration of the fascinating Medina (old town), the Koutoubia Mosque, whose minaret dominates the Marrakesh skyline, and a visit to the secluded tombs of the Saadi dynasty, hidden behind high walls. After some time to watch the dancers, storytellers and acrobats at the bustling Djemaa El Fna Square, take a scenic drive south of Marrakesh to the beautiful Ourika Valley. Tonight Fantasia Show with dinner at Chez Ali Restaurant - Originated from the Rif, the fantasia is a war ceremony which consist of opposing different groups of horsemen, each represents the best rides of its tribe. Each group quivers away in a glaring light, all its members point their rifles to the sky and shoot at the same time leaving behind them a tumult burst and shouts. Enjoy a typical Moroccan dinner which mainly includes Harira, Mechoui and couscous under caidal "tents". A traditional event including an opportunity to see the Berber folklore, the jugglers performance, the flying carpet, the belly dancing and finally the fantasia show. Typical Moroccan Menu.

DAY 09
Marrakesh - Casablanca

Today head towards the Atlantic coast, say goodbye to the snake charmers of Marrakesh and drive to Casablanca. Arrive in Casablanca and proceed for a Guided City Tour of Casablanca. Check in Hotel.

Casablanca

Breakfast at Hotel. Day free at leisure until departure transfer to airport.
